WOW, 30 years since graduation is just around the corner. It's hard to believe it's been that long since I've seen some old friends. These last 5 plus years have had much joy and sadness for me and other friends from highschool. I am referring to such things as the death of Frank Bace, someone whom I hung with for many years, who I always knew "had my back" if it was ever needed. He was a friend you could always count on. He is greatly missed by many. Lisa Kollmar and her older brother Robert has died. As well as others I knew from older grades. There have been divorces (mine included in that)and many other life changes for myself and others that I have stayed in touch with over the 30 to 40 years of friendships from Millburn/ShortHills. ocess (atleast on my body), I am going into the future with optimisim. It will be what I make of it. I think having: a 25 year old boy Chris, who is out of the house and has a girlfriend who can take care of him now, and a girl 15 (what is it they say about pay backs)who is a Freshman in H.S., she is on the competition cheerleading squad for Newton and lives for IM on the computer and a huge social life. I, also, have a 7 year old son, Micah, who is into football, soccer, basketball, wrestling, swimteam, baseball, etc... did I miss a sport. And of course he loves X-box, game-boy and Yu-Gi-Oh cards. My children and some friends from Millburn/ShortHills that are very special to me, that is what life is all about. It's the people in our life, past and present, that makes us who we are. Looking forward to our 30th reunion. "The ultimate test of a friendship is to disagree but to hold hands."
