Life

1995 - graduated high school. ate an ice cream sunday. went to brigham young university (utah).
1996 - came back from school a changed man. ate an ice cream sunday. went to australia to speak vietnamese and be a missionary.
1997 - ate crocodile. taught english and religion in the drug capitol of sydney. 1998 - ate kangaroo. came back to america. drove on the wrong side of the road. went back to brigham young university.
1999 - decided to major in computer science AND english. ate rice with nuoc mam. wrote some poems. stressed out.
2000 - published a few poems, essays. working part-time with startup internet company. tried to win a rhodes scholarship or something. tried to get my basketball and volleyball game back. tried to eat a kleenex.
2001 - played a lot of sand volleyball, graduated, went to work for said company doing tech writing and software development
2002 - discovered ultimate frisbee, learned how to throw a forehand
2003 - got bored with working, went to Europe, did a lot of camping and ultimate frisbee playing, took ...Expand for more
the LSAT for kicks, met a girl named Angela
2004 - applied to law school for kicks, got admitted to Georgetown but in the end said girl named Angela and a scholarship convinced me to enroll at BYU
2005 - married said girl named Angela, bought a town house, drove a jeep atop old lava flows in Hawaii, realized I was still enrolled in law school and spent 24 hours a day for two weeks trying to catch up again, interned in DC, decided DC was too crowded for me
2006 - passed the patent bar, spent a nice summer working in San Jose, CA, had some vacation time in Oregon and Texas
2007 - graduated law school, passed the CA bar, went on a Carribean cruise, moved to CA, had a boy named Thomas, and started working
2008 - worked, fought off two old drunk men in lederhosen trying to enter our van while we searched for a doctor for Thomas in the middle of a freak late-season Schwarzwald snow storm at 2:00AM on Easter morning, cruised Alaska, worked some more
2009 - bought a house, spent two months fixing it up, had another boy named Jonah while fixing it up, moved in, still fixing it up, watched my grandfather get baptized at age 80
