Life
I got married on May 11, 2006 in Raleigh NC. My husband and I currently live in Eau Claire, WI.
Workplace
I moved to Virginia to be with my parents the day after I graduated from UW Stevens Point with my major in Interior Design. I planned to mooch off of my parents as long as possible while I applied for jobs in the design field. I took a job in a fabric store called Cloth World and worked my way up to manager in 2 years and when I was presented the opportunity to manage my own store, I moved within 24 hours to Augusta Georgia. I was there 2 years and decided to move back home to Roanoke Virginia to be happier in a less stressful job with the company and be closer to my parents, escpecially for the holidays. n Roanoke Virgina for several years and was honored with a company paid trip to our Flagship store in Manhattan New York. It was fabulous! The store is in Trump Plaza on 5th Avenue and was so exciting. Took my picture walking on piano keys similar to the one in the Tom Hanks move "Big"(they sold the original one!)Lots of pictures, shopping and a walk in Central Park later the fun was over and back to little old Roanoke we went. I moved on to work with AARP Pharmacy Services catalog center in the accounting department, moved into Medicare working with orders for walkers, canes, lift chairs and scooters and a job opening in Eau Claire Wisconsin brought me back up to the cold weather this past June. I am now freezing and trying to thicken my Virginia blood and lose any accent I may have acquired over the last 11 years. I am so far glad to be back and near more of my family again.
