Karla's Story

Life Married in May '82,our son born Nov.'83. Moved to Tampa Fl.'84 then to Lake Wales Fl.'98. our hobby is restoring antique and classic cars. Steve does the mechanical body and paint work while I do the upholstery and interiors. Riding motorcycles, we own several. Currently I'm riding a 2007 Harley Davidson Softail, while Steve swaps out on his 2006 Roadking and his 2007 Softail Custom. s. I've worked for the same company for the past ten years as I started out as a seamstress sewing automotive upholstery and now am in charge of the entire warehouse. Pushing for retirement and looking to the future. Now as of February 2009 the fall in our economy has caused me to be unempolyed. The plant that I was working in completely shut down. So now I'm taking advantage of staying at home trying to make money on my own by doing auto upholstery here in my own shop.
