Karyn's Story
Life
I am happily married and a mother of one. My huband, Keith, and I were overjoyed to welcome our daughter, Kayla, in July of 2003.
After school I spent ten years in mortgage banking followed by three years in exporting before retiring to raise our daughter. My husband holds a position in the financial services industry, and is an avid sports fan and a talented musician. We have a lovely apartment in Queens, and are all doing well.
School

e, like any other high school.
I spent time in the band hallway, the parking lot, backstage and on stage, by my locker across from the nurse's office, and in the courtyard. And as much time out of class as possible. Lots of lunches at Farmer Joel's.
College
I began my career in mortgage banking while still a student and did not complete my degree. When my daughter starts school it is likely that I will as well.
Workplace
After school I began a ten-year career in mortgage banking, followed by three years in import/export. I left the work force to raise my daughter, Kayla.
