Kasandra's Story
Life
I left home in 1998 following graduation from high school for the United States Navy. For about my first two years, I was an airdale who worked on, launched, and recovered the F/A-18 Hornet. I then decided to change things up by becoming a corpsman (a medic) for the remainder of my time in the service. While I was a corpsman, I was sent through an accelerated civilian-taught program in college than condensed two years of school into one year to make me into a Clinical Laboratory Scientist with an ASCP certification. I have been in Laboratory medicine since 2002. I am currently pursuing my second career in nursing at Saint Louis University for my Bachelor's degree. I am due to graduate in 2010.

in Saint Louis with my husband who served in the Marine Corps for eight years. He is now out of the service like myself. I like my life in Saint Louis with my family. I have a stepdaughter named Vivian who is very dear to me. I like being her mom so much that Tim and I decided that we should have a baby (due in July 2008). Life is interesting and challenging, the way that I like it! I am very happy with my life in the city with my family.
I do not recall having too many friends in high school because I was so shy and aloof from many of my peers. I am updating my profile mostly out of boredom (couldn't sleep). I figured just in case anybody wondered what I was up to that I would try to give them something to go by!
