Kat's Story
After leaving High School I joined the Navy in 2001. After sustaining severe injury to my knees, I was honorably discharged. From there I moved to Seattle and began acting in Independent Films. After a year I chose to move to LA to pursue acting as a career. I have had several lead roles in various independent films and a few supporting roles in many more. Recently a film I was in Premiered at the Method Fest film festival and won a few awards. e Strip. Now, I am transitioning into more behind the scenes work and am gearing up to direct a short film I wrote.
In my spare time, I work with a non-profit that has created a memorial for the fallen soldiers of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Also, using my past as an overweight teen, I have used my nutritional knowlege to help motivate people live healthier lives.
For fun, I enjoy Vinyasa flow yoga, the beach, working out, watching movies, making movies, red carpet events, spending time learning about the philosophies of several different religions, and am planning a 3 month trip to Europe in late summer.
