Kate's Story
Life
I still live at home with my parents and my younger brother. I am 15 years-old. Both of my older sisters are married and I have a niece and three nephews. I'm with my number one man, Dann, right now and it's wonderful. We have such a good time together. He always cheers me up. My cat, Munky, is the cutest thing. He's only a year and a half old.
School
I'm at Downingtown West High School and in 9th grade. My favorite teacher this year is Ms. Raymond. No one can beat my Algebra teacher from 8th grade though, Mr. Drill. He would take one class a...Expand for more
marking period and just talk to us, about nothing in particular. We brought up the topics. Sometimes they were serious and sometimes we just had fun cracking jokes. That's one teacher I'll never forget.
Workplace
I've been working at the Hair Cuttery in Thorndale since June of 2004 as a receptionist. Sometimes it is very enjoyable. I have learned a lot towards my future career plans. I want to be a hair stylist/message therapist once I finish schooling. Working at a salon is giving me a head start for when I begin my cosmetology training next year.
