Katherine's Story
I am married to a German, Rudi, and have two beautiful adult daughters.
The elder,Kirsten is a horse trainer, horse show judge and runs a hippo therapy program for children with special needs. Kirsten is happily married.
Kirsten also trains dogs and competes with her husband in national agility competition. She is also an actor and has performed in off Broadway,and at local theaters, after attending the Youth Performing Arts School at Manual H.S. in Louisville, and further training at the college, at Steven's College in Missouri and graduate level, at the California Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.
My younger daughter, Leana, is finishing her Bachelor's degree in Media Arts, and is currently at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington. D.C for her apprenticeship. She competes in marathons, and enjoys biking and running.

I too, love horseback riding, snow and water skiing, and still love to play Bridge!
I currently raise and sell pomeranian show dogs, with my sister, Lee, who has a kennel and grooming shop in North Carolina. Lee bred the top winning pom in 2005, CH. Firebrook's Tobasco Fiasco (Toby). I have sold dogs to Canada, Italy, California, as well as locally here in Louisville, Kentucky.
I also speak Indonesian fluently and have spent a number of my adult years in Indonesia doing business in the oil and gas industry. Both my girls were born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have been an official translator at Stanford University Medical Center and now here for the City of Louisville.
I attended American University in Washing
ton. D.C. where I majored in Language and Area Studies of Southeast Asia, with a minor in business.
