Life
After almost 30 years in ministry am pastoring a fledgling progressive, "emerging worship" church called Disciples United Community Church in Lancaster, PA. We meet on Saturday nights for worship. What a joy to hang out in our hot tub on Sunday mornings. Now that "sabbath" time!
We moved from Washington DC four years ago when my husband Bruce was hired as Director of Continuing Education and Professor of Practical Theology at Lancaster Theological Seminary. Together, Bruce and I also enjoy leading workshops and lecturing on topics related to health and spirituality, and clergy health. We have four co-written books out on these subjects...three of which will be coming out this next year.
Our son, Matthew, was just married this summer (July 2007) and was diagnosed with germ cell cancer in October. After several months of chemo he seems to be doing just fine, thank God!
He and his bride, Ingrid, are both in grad school in Washington DC and we enjoy visiting them regularly. My mother lives with us and is hanging in at 90! We have been blessed.
