Katherine's Story
Life
After high school, I went to Sir Sandford Fleming Colligate, for 3 yrs, and graduated with, 2 degrees in forest recreation. My dream was to work in Agonquin Park in the outdoor education program, but due to a unforseen injury, of a severe spinal injury, has lead me to many of years of rehabiltaion. I'm finally on the mend, but due to nerve damage in my back, I'm unable to work again. But I have a great husband, (just 5 yrs as i write this) who has helped me walk through all of this.
We don't have any childern yet, but plan to in the next few years. (We were foster parent to over 18 childern, in a 3 yr time period, some of them still look us up, and call us mom and dad. It's nice to know that you may have had a hand in helping a child have bright future.) We had to wait until the rods in my back, healed enough, before begining our own family. bies, Circuit and Jessie, a lab and a border collie.
We live in a nice house in southwestern ontario,with lots of land around us and has private access to a sandy beach, I'm there every chance I get.
I've kept in contact with a few good friends that I have met over my years of travel, and I'm so glad that we have taken the journey together, I hope that we can go on some more, but of course with our new found friend, and some lost ones, as also hope that we get a chance to talk again, if we have talked in the past, but i hope we also get a chance to talk, even if we were just another face in the hall. please contact me!
