Katherine's Story

Life After graduating from San Angelo Central High School, I worked at The Standard-Times for six years before getting married to Bob Arth (stationed at Goodfellow AFB) in 1966. We have three sons, Chris, Terry and Robby. Our family has lived in Australia (where Robby was born), Austria, India, Russia, and Guatemala. a B.A. in Communication Studies. I'm a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the Republic of Texas (Ft. Concho Chapter in San Angelo), The Carter Society, The Jamestowne Society, National Guild of St. Margaret of Scotland, and the Order of Alba. Had daughter-in-law Stacy and grandson Adrian come for a visit. We went on an Assateague Island adventure today - but only saw one horse “George.”

My friend Kathryn (Kate) Alexander passed away peacefully at 4:37 a.m. this morning at Gilchrist Hospice in Columbia, MD. She was a brave fighter who had been battling Multiple Myeloma for at least 6-7 years! Rest in Peace,

My grandson Adrian was presented 11 certificates, a trophy and medals at his Graduation from elementary to middle school. These included the President’s Education Awards Program in Recognition of Outstanding Academic Excell
