Greetings,
The profile questions and quizzes just don't fully fit the bill for me.
I also like to: write, photography (mostly scenery-nature, wildlife, this beautiful country of ours, old buildings, and family and friends), and other ventures now expanded on slightly, in another section.
I used to square dance, round dance, ballroom dance, began clogging, and started learning to be a Square Dance Caller. I am not able to keep up with those now, and have not been able to for a while, but do try to keep up with some of the very dear friends from these activities.
I love music, and my favorite eras, are the beginning of this nation, and the 1930s and 1940s, and some of the 1950s, but never anything wild and super noisy.
And I was just able to retire last year from full time secretarial work after many years, but still have plenty to do. And a friend said "Retreaded-not retired", and he's right - retired from previous work, but retreaded for new ventures.
Most of all, family and friends are important to me. Each person is unique and special.
On the other Q&A - how many children? -I have none - I have never been married. If I were...Expand for more
to be married and have children - then as many as God chose to give us, or not to give us - as God chooses, not people.
As for voting - more than just voting on issues - but voting for individual candidates, depending on what side of the issues they represent - no matter the party affiliation. There are wise and unwise in each.
Nevertheless, it is always wise to pray for all of our leaders and potential leaders, no matter who they are, or what they represent, and for God's true best for them, for us, and for our nation and world, then when this occurs, then the world will truly be a better place, to the point that this occurs.
Also no matter if we like a leader or not, still the work they have to do is never an easy one - it would not be easy for any of us, either. And let us pray for one another as well, for life is not always easy for any of us.
On another note: Anyone seeing this whom I've had contact with before on Classmates.com, and currently, and hope to - please get in contact. For awhile I had not been able to be on my original account, though, so far, this seems to be working fine now.
