Kathie's Story
If I could, I'd be a singer. I love music. I've gotten out-of-touch with the latest stuff but you can ask me anything about the music of the 60's, 70's and most of the 80's and I can probably give you an informed answer and an opinion about it.
I'm something of a trivia buff. A while back, my friends refused to play Trivial Pursuit with me because I would almost always win.
I've never been married--I did have a couple of close calls, though.
My beloved mother died in 2003 of lung cancer. I miss her terribly. She was the only person in my life that was always on my side.
I have five sisters and five brothers-in-law that I love so much.

I adore. I love their husbands and/or wives too as well as the ones that haven't tied the knot with yet. I have five great-nieces that are unbelievably wonderful.
Can you tell that I love my family?
I worked in accounting for most of my adult life. I ran a computer in the early 70's that took up an entire room. The back-up disks were about the same size as a car's steering wheel. My nieces and nephews have never seen anything like that. They are probably in a museum by now.
I'm retired now due to horrible arthritis and a few other physical problems. I started receiving disability last year after trying for six years to get it.
I recently moved and am enjoying apartment living.
