It's 2019, almost 50 years since I graduated from high school (good grief). I am still in Portland, Oregon in the SE area. My younger sister continues to live with me and we have 3 cats. Due to a car accident in 2015,I have some real mobility issues, but I refuse the wheel chair, mostly just use my cane to get around.I was a Public Assistance Worker for many years, helping both families, single and elderly, including refugees, but had to retire earlier than I'd planned due to chronic migraines. I go by my married name of Blair now, as opposed to my stepfather's last name (Peterson) I also go by my maiden & married name (Webb-Blair) when researching my family history; my family tree has grown since it's inception in 2010. There are now more than 22,000 people, related by blood and/or marriage hanging off the branches, which I consider a Labor of Love. My mom began venturing into the world of genealogy back in the mid 1960's when we moved from the Bay Area to the Willamette Valley in Oregon, where my maternal 3x great grandparents had settled in 1847, one of the three founding families of Albany, Oregon.
