Kathleen's Story
Life
I traveled with my husband the first 12 years we were married with the military. We lived all over Nebraska, Alabama, Maryland, and Germany. We settled in Alabama and I enroled in college at that time with three children at home. My husband stayed in the Army Reseve for 31+ years and retired 4 years ago as a Col. I love working in the capacity of clinical co-ordinater of my clinic, i recently retired after 22 years in the clinic. I spent several years as staff nurse. Early in our marriage we both raced sport cars. Our three children have made us very proud, my oldest made me a grandmother for the second time last year, and finished her masters in Education administration. She is currently a full time mom in Pensacola. My son has been in the Navy for 21 years and is now a Master...Expand for more
Chief, he recently spent 10 months in Iraq flying an ambulance helicopter, early in his carrier he recieved a metal for helping to rescue 11 men off a freighter during a hurricane. Did I mention he is a Search and Rescue Swimmer? He got his MBA from U of
Arkanaws. He got married a few years ago and now has a beautiful daughter named Arden, Our youngest daughter who I named for my closest friend Lin Hill Olson this past year she started working at UAB Hospital in Birmingham as an ultrasonographer. We sold our home of 32 years and moved into a bigger newer house not the need for repairs. Looking foreward to retiring and traveling from state to state to visit our children. We also got a taste of sailing with our friends Lin and Bruce Olson. i retired at 63 and my hubby just retired at 68.
