Kathleen's Story
Graduated grade 12 in 81, grade 13 in 82. I played badminton in high school, track and field (javelin and discus) and I was in the outdoor's club for a year. I also played volleyball until my knees couldn't handle it any more.
After high school, I attended Brock for a couple of years while doing a lot of travelling in Europe - 2 trips for a total of 4 months abroad. Needless to say I didn't spend much time on my studies.
After working odd jobs for a few years, I went to Niagara College and received a diploma in Business Admin Accounting (co-op). Thankfully my time at Brock at least earned me a year's worth of exemptions.

nly lasted 6 years but I have beautiful twin girls from it.
I worked in the accounting field for about 8 years but most of my work was either contract or part-time bookkeepping. Computers became a distraction over the years and in 1999 I took a post-grad course at Niagara for Computer Network Operations. While I continued in the accounting field for a few more years, I also landed a contract job at my local library as the Network Adminstrator.
Once the contract ended and all the part-time jobs dried up, I went back to school one more time and received a Network Engineering Security Analyst Technology diploma. Thankfully, I started a full time job immediately after writing my last exam and I have been working full time at the same location ever since.
