ovide a sewing service for about 4 years. I previously worked at Creative Station for a year and a half doing basic alterations and custom sewing. After Creative Station I became the seamstress and designer at Bridal, Blooms and Beyond in Bad Axe from August 2011 to July 2012. I worked full-time sewing from home and then returned to the bridal shop in September 2012. I opened my own sewing & dress shop (Kat's Custom Sewing & Design) on Feb 18,2013 and currently doing formal dress alterations and design, upholstery, and custom sewing jobs. I have my own line of purses and handbags, along with custom one-of-a-kind guitar straps which I sell at Music & More in downtown Bad Axe. If it can be sewn, I can sew it....and I patiently wait for the day that I become a famous designer and I work hard at pursing that dream everyday.
