Kathy's Story
Life
Hi, I feel like I have lived a bunch of different lives. Right now I am a stay at home mom and loving it, (sometimes lol). We live in Ohio. I have been married to my husband for, let me think, 17 years. I waitressed for a while, then I ran his construction business until we started a family. In this area the women stay home and raise the family while the man works, so here I am, which is cool. I go to Kent State in the evenings. I am taking some Business, Accounting, and Information Technology classes so that when both kids are in school full time I can consult. We have 2 wonderful kids, 3 dogs and a house in the woods. It's nice and peaceful here but I do miss living in the city. We get up to New York a few times a year, especially in the summer time. My mom has a summer place up there still. We like to travel. Hang out. ****************
Here's my update- I'm still going to Kent State. I probably have two ye...Expand for more
ars left because there are so many classes I want to take but at some point I am going to have to say enough is enough and stop, but believe it or not I love going to school. Looking back I wish I had the support a teenager needs so I would have gone back then. Who knows where I would be- the Chief CFO of a major corporation or running a firm on Wall Street. When I am not in school or studying,I am either being a slave to my kids or homeschooling my son. We live out in the middle of nowhere and I got tired of driving him back and forth everyday so we are homeschooling. Next year I plan on homeschooling my daughter also. She will be in kindergarden. Hopefully I can take most of my classes on line.
We now have 4 cats. Word of warning to all who read this- if you go to the cat shelter to get a cat DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS WITH YOU. (unless you want 4 cats)
Not much else right now, looking forward to the holidays. Peace.
