Hi,
I attended West Kent from Grades 1-5 starting in 1966. I truly loved that school and have so many fond memories of my time there. I remember my very first day of school, but cannot remember the teachers name, but her face is engraved in my memory. Other teachers I remember are Mrs. Sharp, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Todd (gr 5). nd two brothers when my Dad remarried and 3 of us were in the same class in grade one. I remember it was a long walk from our house to the school. I am living out west now and return home each year to PEI and always take a drive by West Kent and it warms my heart every time. I even took a picture of my daughter outside the school one year. Thank you West Kent for the great start in life and all the warm memories.
