Kathy's Story
Hello SDHS alumni! Hope to hear back from you.
After graduating from SDHS in 1974 I went to Milwaukee, WI to attend Patricia Steven Career College Fashion Merchandising program. Yeah, got the diploma, but afterwards, even Sears was not hiring part-time! Remember that recession? So started working a "regular" job in the insurance industry. Since that time I have moved on to the computer industry.

d we moved to Florida and then NY, but settled down in the Houston, TX area to raise the kids.
Once the kids were grown and on their own we got the urge to move again. We have lived in Greenwich & Danbury, CT and Seattle, WA a couple of different times. The Midwest drew us back and we landed in Chicago. Well, we are Cubs fans, so there's that. More recently, family obligations also have us back in Decatur part-time.
Anyway, it's been a fun ride over the past 45 years. Hope to see all of you at the reunion in September 2019!
