Katie's Story
Wow, has it really been 13 years since graduation? Let's see. I went to David Fairchild Elementary School (1989 - 1994), Gloria Floyd Elementary School (1994 - 1995), Arvida Middle School (1995 - 1998), and Coral Gables Senior High (1998 - 2002). I graduated in 2002 and went on to college at Florida Gulf Coast University (2002 - 2005). Snagged my AA and moved to Tampa. I took a hiatus from school while I worked hard (and stayed broke) as a server at Bennigan's (sure do miss that Monte Cristo) and then at Johnny Carino's. leaf clover tattoo prevented that). Almost joined the Air Force, but didn't (God prevented that). Went back to school in 2009 and graduated from the University of South Florida in 2010 with a BA in English.
These days, I'm married with two kids and have plenty to keep me busy during the week. I'm a children's book author ("Hi, God" and "Four Lucky Leaves" both as K.D.
