Katie's Story
I hope my friends remember me as the girl who was always smiling. Always a goof.
I always wanted to be a Hair Stylist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were right.I did hair for 7 years. It was a great time in my life.
I blow off steam buy getting in the car and driving till I find some place new.
The wildest thing I did was go to New York to watch the ball drop to 1990.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my camera, my best friend, and my Starbucks to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
My hero is still my Daddy. To this day he still working to support his family. He's one of my greatest councils.
Since graduation I have lived in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Fresno, Richmond, Vallejo, Auberry, and Corsegold. Outside of California I lived in Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Guanajuato, Mexico. I've moved around a lot just because I could.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Bill Stacy, because he was a true friend since my 1st day at school in California.

turn out the way you expect. My biggest surprise was becoming a Meth addict. It's not something I would want anyone to have to go through. I've been sober since December 27, 2007. I'm proud of the person I've become. Without this journey I wouldn't have dicovered my passion for photography.
The teacher I would love to see again is Bryce Burkette. She supported my creative side since I was in 6th grade until her last year at Napa High in 1990. Without her I wouldn't have gone to New York in 1990. Special thanks to a teacher who truly care. I will always have a place in my heart for her.
Right now I'm in school full time getting my degree in Business Admin. I also do freelance photography for Kelly Elder's band Little Sister. I've gotten to travel with them all over California and Nevada.
What happened to my 1st crush? I married him January 9, 1999. Javier Contreras and I seperated 6 mothes later. We share a great child, my Step-son Rodrigo Contreras.
My best friend would tell you I'm smart, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as an airhead.
