Katsumi's Story
Life
I was born in Japan, but I moved to US when I was 15 alone. (don't ask why, I do not even know,,,ww) Went to Ballard high in Seattle, graduated College in LA with very little support from my family.
I moved to NY for work for a year as Teaching job.
However I figured teaching is not right job for me.( can't live with teacher salary in NY city!)
I went back to Japan, change the career, learned to be a material engineer when I had worked in Customer service Lab in Tokyo. I got a offer from Buelher in IL, so I transfered again to US. Worked for 3years. Got married with Japanese guy. but my visa could not e...Expand for more
xtended, expire during I was pregnant. I went back to Japan and deliver baby girl.
My hus had nervas breakdown from his business not going well at all, made debt load,,,,and still not recovering to be able to work.
Well I guess I do not have easy life. But I am very strong and able to live on. My daughter is 5 years old, she is growing very well, nice and gentle, also very intteligent! That is all matter.
Now I am working with a semiconductor equipment manufacturer as product manegement for oversea account.
I am still looking for a chance to go back to US, where I spend half of my inportance time of life.
