Kay's Story
Hello everyone! I am checking in from California where my mother and my sister Patty now live. I have had a eventful life, blessed by God in many ways. My marriage to Bob Yeaney lasted 32 years until his death in Jan. of 1991. We had 3 children, 2 girls and a son. My one daughter and son live within 20 miles of my home. My eldest daughter lives in Idaho. I was married again in 1994 and sadly "Woody" also passed 9-11-10. I was blessed with two really good marriages. I have had several occupations but they are all related. I started out as a church secretary. While doing this I and my husband spent 4 years working in Mexico among the disadvantaged Went back to school and got my AA in Social Services. t need for outreach. Following the death of my husband, Bob, I needed to support myself so I went to work as a Social Worker for a re-hab hospital. That is were I ended my working life. I moved to the mountains in 1997. The desert like weather of CA never did agree with me and this PA girl missed her trees. I live in a village of 300 or so in the San Bernardino mountains. Winter is coming and I would love to spend time on the computer catching up with old friends. Gosh I thought I up-dated this. Married again to Fred MacGregor. He was a bit of a city boy but is adapting tot the mountains and a snow shovel very well within the last 5 years. We travel a lot and we both love it. If there is any place I have ot been I want to go there. Everything else seems to be the same. Nice to see familiar names...and a few faces...
