Hootie Owl has been visiting our back yard regularly and Is getting used to us being out there with him. He posed for this photo taken by Larry. The second owl usually comes to join him a bit later in the evening.
Granddaughter Vanessa Ruiz had the opportunity to learn to make gnocchi (pasta) with an Italian chef in Padrona del Grappa where she is spending a semester studying.
