Kay's Story
Thanks for stopping by. I met my husband, Dennis, in college and we married in 1972. Most of my career has been spent in university administration and I've worked the last twenty years for the University of California. I recently retired as the Associate Vice President for Business Operations for the system's Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

spouse served as a United Methodist minister and passed away in 2010 from an aggressive form of prostate cancer.
I have two daughters -- one is an opera singer who sings professionally with the San Francisco Symphony and San Francisco Opera. My other daughter is preparing to teach and engaged to be married in the fall of 2014.
