Kay's Story
Life
Since graduating from High School I attended San Diego State for two years. Then went with American Airlines as a Flight Attendant. I married Robert (Bob) Hurt and had 6 children. Lia, (37) married with 3 boys (17,12,and 10.) Laura, (36)divorced, 1 girl (10 years) from that marriage. Married again, 1 girl (10 months) plus 4 stepchildren. She is a Dental Assistant. Bonnie, (29)divorced, dental hygienist (graduated University of Maryland- Baltimore). Recently engaged, an October wedding is planned. Jana, (27) married and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Macon Georgia. She graduated the University of North Texas and is a Speech Pathologist/Audiologist. ile. Currently attending college to become a fireman and Paramedic. David (22) married, currently going to a private helicopter pilot training school. I am currently working at Target as a cashier. My hobbies are, sewing and quilting. I love helping people. I have recently completed an Associates degree in Geographic Information Systems and looking for employment in that area.
We have lived in San Diego most of our married life, but have lived in Rhode Island twice. Illinois for 4 years (in the Navy). Texas, for six years. Bob has worked in the Nuclear industry for the last 29 years and is currently at San Onofre. We love to travel and go as often as we can. Church, family, quilting, genealogy and work fill my days and weeks, and I love it.
