This is me enjoying the birthday/anniversary present my wife, Cindy, gave me in January. It's May 19, and I'm at the throttle of Nevada Northern 2-8-0 #93 with a four car freight train in tow. Great fun!!!

We went to Lake Pueblo today to see the bald Eagles feeding along the water's edge. Didn't see any eagles, but I've always liked Pikes Peak in the winter.

The latest Colorado gold mine. Only with this one the gold (our money) goes into the hole, not out. Seems our sewer connection was done wrong 20 years ago and the tree roots found it. The plumbers had to dig with a jackhamm
