Keith's Story
Life
Thought that it was about time to flesh this out.
For those of you out of the loop and not at the 20 year reunion, after 10 years of marriage, Patti (Smelser, now Tuxworth) and I divorced back in early 2000. For something so serious, it was surprisingly amicable. (Patti is now remarried and lives in the UK.)
I met Barbara later that same year on a dive boat off of Catalina. It was (and is) the proverbial "skyrockets" for a romance. We married in 2001 and we live in North Tustin area. In 2003, we had our first child, Ava Rae and just recently in 2006 we brought Colette Suzanne into our lives.
Barbara is an incredible woman with great compassion. (Hell, she needs that to have married me.) Ava is ...Expand for more
a spitfire. She is high-spirited (read, a handful) but amazingly charming and bright. Even at three, she is an accomplished con artist. (Daddy, we need to go to Disneyland because Ariel called and wants me to help her.) As to Colette, it is hard to make conclusions on six months of life, but she is the happiest infant around and that's not just her father claiming that. She is also "thriving" as in the euthemism for "darn right chubby". It's certainly rough to be chubby later in life but as an infant it's mighty adorable. When she smiles, which is almost non-stop, her eyes nearly disappear in those cheeks.
Life is good and I hope others from my youth are find their joy in life. All the best, Keith 04/11/07
