Kellie's Story
Well, after I graduated from University of Kentucky I started working at a treatment facility for troubled teens. That lasted for 13 years and then ownership changed so I got off the boat before it sank. During that time I had two wonderful children of my own. ages 5-17. Talk about stress and learning that private for profit facilities mean just that, I moved on to now working for the state. If I had only know sooner to work for the state, I would almost be able to retire soon. I now work at the juvenile detention center in Lexington, KY. My kids are 11 and 15. Alexis is my daughter (11) and Austin is my son (15). I love them both dearly and learn daily from them.
