Kelly's Story
Life
Hey guys,
I did'nt realize how much I missed you all untill I saw the list of names. After Saint Agnes I went to Presentation HS where I made alot of new friends and discovered I did'nt like the whole "vibe" there. (seriously) My dad agreed and found a much smaller school for me.
There was no way I was gonna let some very special friendships go by the wayside...Velia - Tonya..Earl..Starla ..I felt like the real friends came from SA and all the others lived in my neighborhood so I couldnt ask for much more.
I was a class clown plain and simple. I spent alot of time in the hallways (time out they call it these days) and at the principals office..my parents were called off and on for various reasons. I was a good kid (IMO) just acting out. Just trying to make someone laugh.
I have 2 girls and they must never know my past. lol The youngest is Caitlin - she is 6 (yes 6) I'm old but fertle okay? My oldest is 16 her name is Ke'xia. (Ka-see-ya) Caitlin is in St. Philips (SA is closed so I had to find something just as good) and Ke'xia is at Sacred Heart Cathedral - which is co-ed now ! (Presentation closed so I couldnt send her there ) I felt they should go through the same trauma we did in c...Expand for more
atholic school.
When I left Pres. I went to Notre Dame for my last two yrs in high school (they've since closed) It was mostly hispanic because it sat right in the heart of mission. It was alot smaller and easier to connect with both students teachers. I made alot of great friends there as well.
After graduation I went to CS Fullerton (next door to Disneyland)and majored in English lit then communications. Tried my hand at employment whenever I was on break from school and somehow got hold of an application to PacBell (now SBC) they hired me in 84 and I worked there up until the birth of my 6yr old. (98) She was born with serious respiratory problems and needed care 24/7. I took a year leave of absense and never returned. She's a healthy pretty girl now with a little Asthma that pops up once in a while.
If you meet my 16yr old you would say she reminds you of me. I know this because we hardly get along. she looks alot like I use to and we have the same sick sense of humor so she keeps me laughing.
That's about it, can't think of anything else except for hearing from a few of you would be nice. To know all is well and sharing both the good and the bad memories.
just me
