Kelly Flood:  

Life In a nutshell: I graduated from high school and dinked around for a while in community college. Did a little modeling, worked in graphic design for a year, married Rob Flood (Sibley, Class of '84), bought a house in Burnsville. Finished a BA, worked in human services, went into graduate school (psychology), got divorced at 28. Moved into Uptown Mpls. with 2 cats and lived a somewhat edge-y, fringe existence filled to the brim with interesting choices. Got into horses, took classes at the Loft Literary Center, traveled (met family in Norway!) waited tables at the Good Earth in Edina, met a British scientist from England, shacked up, did loads of volunteer work and foster care for animal welfare, went back to school for veterinary nursing. Moved with British boy and 7 animals to Portland, OR. Here on the West Coast I continue to ride horses, write, recycle everything, eat low on the food chain, and do British boy's laundry. I am also active in theater and the arts, and work various part-time jobs in my many chosen field(s). Will continue to evolve and change til respiration and brain activity cease for good.
