Kelly's Story
Life
After graduating, I realized that staying in Casper was a road leading to nowhere. So I loaded up my brand new Chevy Chevette and took off. My life was just one big adventure after another, with no true direction, moving 22 times in 10 states, until I moved to Berkeley, California in Dec. '87 and found myself. I don't think I would have ever left the Bay Area, had I not married a California born sailor, who got stationed at Pearl Harbor. Thank goodness I thought Hawaii might be just as good as California, or I would have had to rethink things. Hee Hee. Well, here we are 20 years later, finally seeing that God does have a plan for our lives, happily married, and with two precious children, one girl and one boy, perfect! (Now 15 & 11) After living everywhere and realizing Colorado is where we belong, we have finally settled in Littleton for the rest of our children's school years. I am working for IBM's largest partner as head of their accounting department and my husband is the Corporate head of all the call centers for one of the largest sporting goods retailers in the US. We are happy, content and excited to see where the Lord leads us now. Knowing that He is in control and that God can plan your life a lot better that we could without him.

ng I wanted to do was go to college. However, through my travels, school always became an opportunity, so I would jump at it as often as I could. Twenty years later, I have finally graduated with my Bachelors in Finance. I hope to have my MBA before I have to pay for my kids.
Workplace
Up until April of 2001, I can't ever remember not working. I got my first job at 11 years old cleaning the mortor off bricks. From there I went to cleaning office buildings until I went to work for McDonalds at 15. After high school, I jumped from job to job, including banking, stock broker, Financial Planner and Store Manager, also college to college, and state to state, just going wherever the wind blew me.That is until I met my husband and we moved to Hawaii. There I went back in to banking again and that's pretty much where stayed until the corporate accounting world contacted me and offered me a job. About two years later, after running the corporate rat race and climbing the corporate latter, I realized that my children needed me more than this company. So in April 2001, I finally quit to stay home with my two beautiful children for four years. Now that my children are older, I have gone back to work and have been in upper management in accounting for some of the top companies in the world for the past few years.
