Kelly's Story
What have I been up to since High School? A whole hell of a lot...I mean it's been 11 years. Where do I start. Well I guess I start at the beginning. Just one month after graduation I married my first husband...thats right the first. Then just another few months later I had my son Michael who is soon to be 11. I proceeded to try and boost my career and make my marriage work. After 3 years I gave up and met my second husband. In 2003 I had my little girl, Bailey who is soon to be 5. Then in 2004 I decided that I was tired of working for minimal pay and I went to work for Sanford Brown College as the evening receptionist. While there I attended morning classes to obtain my Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, while working full time and being a single working mother. e raises later I graduated from college. Making me the first in my family to do so. I stayed with Sanford Brown for another few months and moved onto another company. However, in July 2008 I landed my dream job where I can start my lifetime career. I now work for the Washington University Police Department as a Neighborhood Security Officer and I also work security for a private security company. I am loving life now. Two of the most beautiful children in the world. Of course I'm bias. And have kept friends and maded some new ones along the way.
So basically my life has not completely gone the way I wanted it to with all the twists and turns...but it has gotten me where I always wanted to be. Who can really ask for more?
Do I remember High School fondly....not really. Graduation was my favorite day!
