Kelly's Story
Since high school I've been quite busy! I've been working on getting my degree in Elementary Education in hopes to become a 1st of 2nd grade teacher. The last three summers (2006 - 2008) I have been working in Cimarron, New Mexico at Philmont Scout Ranch. I think I have the best job ever... working in the Sange de Cristo mountains, teaching kids of all ages about the outdoors... we backpack, hike, camp, ride horses, rock climb, challenge courses, cook, archery and rifle, and just have a lot of fun!
I am currently dating a wonderful guy named Steve. He's a Middle School teacher at Eagle Nest Middle School, in Eagle Nest, New Mexico. We met at the St. James Hotel- Bar...Expand for more
through a mutual friend. It all started when I saw him wearing a Cubs hat and being the Cardinals fan that I am, gave him a lot of trouble for being a Cubs fan. From there on we fell in love very quickly. He has been nothing but amazing to me! He always continues to amaze me and surprise me! We recently got engaged on June 14, 2008 and will be getting married September 12, 2009.
The other man in my life is my crazy dog Ozzie. He's a mixed breed of a Rat Terrier, Beagle, and Jack Russell (we think). He's full of energy, but at the end of the day a big cuddler. He makes me smile each and every day!
