Kelly's Story
Life
Gaduated from Balfour in 1975, got married Nov '75 to John Rogers, lived at Regina Beach, had first daughter Kira in 1976, moved to Regina, attended Nursing school, graduated in 1981. Gave birth to second daughter Jenna in 1982, and moved to Kamloops BC, lived there till 1990, also gave birth to son Jonathon in 1984. Moved to Victoria BC in 1990, lived and worked there till 1999, moved to Comox BC, still live in Comox with husband John, both daughers live in Tofino with boyfriends, Kira is pregnant and will make me a Grandma this December, son Jonny moved out on his own this year too, so we are empty nesters and loving...Expand for more

Workplace
Started out working at Plains Hospital in Regina,SK, moved to Kamloops BC, worked at Royal Inland Hospital for 9yrs, took Critical Care Nursing while there, moved to Victoria BC, worked Royal Jubilee Hospital and Sannich Pennisula Hospital in the ER for 8yrs, moved to Comox BC, worked briefly at St. Joe's Hospital then commuted to Powell River Hospital by ferry for a year then did Travel Nursing in USA, mostly Boston, New Mexico and California for 3yrs, now I am back at St Joe's working part time in ICU and ER. Still plan to do temporary assignments in USA once in while.
Still love my job most of the time.
