Ken's Story
Life
For some odd reason, after getting 3 scholarship offers from grade school to attend private school, I ended up going to a Chicago Public H.S. Go figure. But, it was cool.
Met great people in H.S., had fun, and went on to University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and bounced from studying architecture to painting and landed in graphic design.
Moved to Baltimore Maryland in 1986, and have been in the area since. Met my future wife Eve in 1989, married ...Expand for more
in 1994, and had a son Julian in 2002 (I'm going to be an old daddy).
Have had my own business, Karlic Design (original name, eh?) since 1992, and couldn't imagine ever having a job again -- in fact I'm probably totally unemployable. Eve and I traveled a bunch, including to Mexico, Europe, Turkey, and southeast Asia.
I've enjoyed drawing and painting over the last 20 years, mostly landscapes and seascapes of our travels. All in all, things are pretty good.
