K's Story
Life
I graduated Akron U in the spring of 2002. One month later I packed up and moved to New Hampshire. I'm an accident investigationist / reconstructionist for a very small company by the name of The Crash Lab, Inc. I am back in school at UNH for Physics and am hating it. Not the course work, just the school. I got married in November of 2001. My husband has a wonderful twelve year old daughter who stays with us quit frequently. We are going to start trying for another child in the very near future, we want two more. My husband just finished school for his A&P mechanics lic...Expand for more
ense in February 2006 and is now working for American Airlines out of Boston. It's nice to have two incomes again!
Workplace
Visit The Crash Lab website. I spend a lot of time behind a desk reading police reports and depositions. I do get to get out on occasion and forensically map a crash scene. Otherwise, I'm in the court room telling the jury or the judge why I think a crash occurred. This August I will teach my first accident reconstructionist physics course for The University of North Florida. In Ohio of all places. I'm hoping that works out because it should be fun.
