Kenneth's Story

Life Well?, Upon leaving & Graduating from High School. I sought out an adventure down in the "old pueblo" (Tucson), and there was plenty of downs and ups, but I still had strength and youth on my side. Yet, youth sure did bring plenty of good times in those days but at the expense of my beautiful dream car; a 1970 - 302 'hard coup' Mustang. "AWESOME?" Feeling failure, I returned home to think it over but things only got worst which only cost me my health. After recuperating, I first decided to go to ABC Technical Trade Schools to start my training as a Diesel Technician, on the contrary, prior to, "I was delayed seven months". I would have to say that tech school was the best and most adventurous that anyone could ever experience. I enjoyed the hands on training of being able to get your hands dirt down greasy with oil and diesel fuel. I will always be thankful to the MacDonald Administration for giving me that opportunity to learn something totally new and of interest. (I'll always mesmerize those days since I knew that you only live once and the acquaintances and people I got to meet were absolutely the coolest). Yes?, I graduated from ABC on October 13, 1988. I did continuously worked alot of labor jobs around Tucson during that period of time, because I loved hard rigorous work, and thats were all the cool (layed back type) people seemed to work. After the summer of 1989. I had to thoroughly contemplate about what I had to do in life, that's when I sought out Gallup, N.M. Afterwards, every place I've been to was an adventure "some place different" and I always met good people. By 1990, I returned to education by enrolling & trying out Navajo Community College (Tuba City) then my decision was to return to Tucson and go fulltime at Pima County Community College/West & East Campus's. All I can Say, is that was one heck of an experience and probably the best time of going to College, "it sure made me forget High School". Well, High School was not all that pleasurable for me honestly. At Pima, I met alot of good friends and some I'll never forget, words, can't even translate...Expand for more
OR EXPLAIN, what I'll always think and feel about them? "THANXS dUDEs, Go PIMA COLLEGE aZTECS!" I have always been a person to feel from my heart first, in conjunction, I loved meeting different peoples from all over the world. 1993, was a period of time I dreaded (indefinitly) because my mother passed on and I choose to leave College thinking I'd return as soon as possible, it didn't happen. It's part of a period which I have come to call the dark years, and I wasn't prepared to over come what I was to really face. Sinking to the bottom of what nobody could even imagine, or even possibly ever think there was a way to return from sheer hell, dark, and immense emotional pain... It all didn't come without meeting people as before, since, and thereafter, maybe, and their have been some certain people that thought some of my friend's were/are "bad people", but people are people and we are all not perfect! Nuff said!' I worked alot of construction (CONCRETE) and auto mechanics jobs during the period of 1994 - 2001: Had plentiful experiences in Grand Canyon too Bullfrog, Utah :working with marine engines on the lake. Boy?, talk about working and being in heaven at the same time! Beautiful? Working in Paradise? Girls, Bikinis, Party? "Beauty was everywhere?" Now, after going through some serious health issues which seems to have me from ever returning to the work I love to do. I finally returned to what I didn't finish eleven years before, so, starting from Spring 2003- on & off - until the present. I' am currently going full time at Northern Arizona University in the B.S. program of Sociology with history as a minor. The summer of 2004, I returned to Pima College Downtown Campus to take the Auto mechanics class and smaller compact diesel -classes, and I used my previous training to do side work during the weekends. Now, it's NAU again the adventure continues but getting older and hopefully - wiser! Man? that/this was a crazy life! Metal rulz! If it's too loud- you're too old! Man! Yah! See Ya! "2007"! To end this I am graduating, & walking on 5/10/2008, finally! "Never give Up!"
