Life I graduated from High School in 1979 and went directly into the U.S. Navy. My very first duty station was Dental Technician "A" School in San Diego Ca (Fun), after school I was assigned to the Naval Regional Dental Center in Orlando Fl (with my brother Al class of 78), towards the end of that duty I married my High School sweetheart, Letecia Gaddis. From Orlando I was transferred to my first Ship the USS Simon Lake, our mission was to take care of Submarines, I advanced to E-5 and was transferred to Naval Dental Center Pensacola Fl (again with my brother Al), from there I went back to school in San Diego for six months and then on to another ship the USS Frank Cable another Submarine Tender, in 1988 I advanced to E-6, was selected as the top Sailor onboard in 1990 and advanced to Chief Petty officer in 1991(A good duty station for me) From the Frank Cable I was assigned to the Bureau of Naval Personnel in Washington DC, responsible for placement/assignment of Medical, Dental, Nurse and Medical Service Corps Officers, I advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer, attended the Senior Enlisted Acadamy in Newport Rhode Island and was given orders as the Command Senior Chief U.S. Naval Dental Center Far East in Yok...Expand for more
