Life
After graduation in 66 i left Daytona in 67 when i went into the Army.I stayed in the Army for 3 years and got out in 1970.I came back to Daytona for about a month and a half,and i decided i was going back to California where i had met my future wife while i was stationed at Fort Ord my last year in the Army.I felt there was nothing or no one there for me,so i got in my 64 chevy SS and told Wendell Tooks that i am going to California,and i never looked back.I have lived here in California since 1969.My wife and i got married July 1st 1971 and come July of this year,we have been married 35 years.I really love it out here in California,and i truly hope if any of you ever get the chance to ...Expand for more
visit here,please do.It is really beautiful out here!We have tall buildings,mountains,nice lakes,great camping sites,fishermans wharf,and quite a few other things.My wife and i have 3 wonderful kids,and they are all grown.We have 2 girls and 1 boy,and we are the proud grandparents of 2 girls and 1 boy.I retired from my job in 2001 because of medical reasons.I worked for the School District for 20 years until i retired,i was a maintenance worker.Before working for the School District,i worked 8 and a half years for Firestone Tire & Rubber company building cars and truck tires.God has been good to me and i couldnt have accomplished anything without his guidence.May God bless all of you!
