Hey guys, I can't believe it's been 45 years since we walked across that stage and received our Diplomas. Where did all that time go? Around the clock right? I hope that someone out there remembers me. I was a pretty shy person in school and stayed quite most of the time. I was in Mrs. Paynes homeroom until I went to summer school and got ahead, then I was in Mrs. Bergans homeroom. So I graduated in 68 instead of 69. I went by my middle name Gene until my senior year when I started going by my first name Kenneth. I thought that was pretty neat at the time but it confused a lot of people. It still does today. I was in FFA all three years and was Vice President my senior year. I was also in the Paint and Body Shop for one semester. I hung out mostly with the FFA guys (goat ropers) since we all had animals to care for and FFA was a two hour class. If you look at the FFA pictures in the year book I'm labeled as Gene not Kenneth, But my senior picture is Kenneth. After graduation I got an AA degree from Lee College in Baytown.
