Kent's Story
Life
I grew up in Winnipeg, Ottawa and Regina, attending four different elementary schools, followed by Campbell Collegiate('78) and the University of Saskatchewan where I received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in '84.
In 1984 I married Leanne White, who had also attended Campbell ('80).
We have a daughter (1988) and son (1990).
In 1984 I began a 17 year career with Ciba-Geigy, ...Expand for more
a multinational ag-chem company, which subsequently evolved/merged to be Ciba, Novartis and now Syngenta. That took us from Regina to Saskatoon, Guelph, Calgary and North Carolina.
At the end of 2000 I left the world of huge multinationals to return to Calgary where I now work at a small firm that provides marketing consulting & research to agricultural companies (Stratus Agri-Marketing).
