Kent's Story
I only attended Franklin for first and second grades (1946-48). Mrs. Carruthers was our first grade teacher. You can see her in the class photo I posted. She only taught there that one year. But in second grade I had Mrs. Ida Knudson, who taught at Franklin for about 30 years I've been told. We then moved to American Fork and I attended Harrington School. We moved back to Provo and I went to 5th and 6th grades at Timpanogos.

We then moved to California, so I never went to Provo High School with my Class of 1958. I think the new school opened about the time my class went there, but I only remember seeing the old school, where the police station and library were later built.
I went through the rest of my school years in Ontario, California, then to the University of Redlands for college.
I have now lived in Phoenix, AZ since 1978.
