Kenyata's Story
Hi everyone.
Life has been great for me. I can't complain. I love the Lord and He has been taking very good care of me. After graduating from high school, I went to college in Indiana and graduated in 1994 with a BS in Accounting. Shortly after I got married, and had my two children Deja and Darrell Jr.
I came back to Detroit and worked for a while, but as you all probably know, it is hard out here. So, I went back to school and graduated with my MBA in 2003. That was a hard year for me, because along with gradu...Expand for more
ation, my father died and my divorce became final. But, I kept working and I kept praying because my God is a good God.
In 2005, I got hired into GM as a Supply Chain Engineer and shortly after I met my new husband, Johnny. We built a new home in August of 2007 in Lansing and got married in November of 2007.
I still have many many more things to do in my life. But, I am enjoying life and feeling great.
