Keri's Story
Life
After getting my Ph.D. in Neuropharmacology and Neuroscience in Albany NY, I accepted a postdoctoral fellowship in Portland OR for 3 yrs under one of the top 10 pain researchers in the world. I am now in Rhode Island and am working as a senior scientist at the large pharmaceutical company in the world. I get to travel often for work (Grand Cayman Island, Sydney Australia, Amsterdam, London, Breckenridge CO, New Orleans, D.C., Chicago, San Fransisco, LA) and I really love my job--it's my passion. causes and volunteer for the Human Rights Campaign. Although I don't get a chance to be around them much, I love spending time with my sisters (especially Megan, our 12 year old, adopted, Hawaiian princess), my 5 cutie nephews, and 2 adorable nieces. I work hard during the week and love relaxing on the weekend. I keep very active with little time for rest. Summers are spent grilling out, drinking out on the beach, and four wheeling in my jeep. Snowboarding is a major activity for me in the winter--as well as watching college football and basketball.
