Life
Hey everyone. I have been married to Dave since Aug. 21, 1993. We don 't have any children. But we have 3 cats, several aquariums and chickens. We live on 10 beautiful acres near the little town of Lone Butte, in the interior of BC. I have worked at the 100 Mile Free Press newspaper since June 1994. I am a graphic designer and I create advertising. We enjoy many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, exploring, X-country skiing and more. I am still painting (artsy fartsy) and have expanded into photography. I am a belly dancer and have been training for more than 9 years and have been teaching for more than 2 years. the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism - Medieval re-enactment) and I have attended the Clinton War every year for the past 12 years. I am a member of the Parkside Arts and Culture Society. I had my first art show Sept 08. We are both members of our local Citizens on Patrol and the Lone Butte Fish & Wildlife Assoc. My husband and I both ride motorcycles (classic sportbikes) and I organized our annual Gold Rush Toy Run & Show'n Shine for 8 years. I finally had to pass it on to someone else because I'm just too darn busy!
My husband is the manager of Total Pet in 100 Mile and is a 100 Mile District Councellor. (I never thought I'd be a politician' wife!)
Life is good here in small-town BC!
