Kerry's Story
Life
Over the past 23 years, Kerry has led the development and implementation of major human resource development strategies in BCÂs public and private sectors. His experience and expertise converge around the theme of people development. Kerry has a track record for achieving results, effecting necessary change, and building strong working relationships with business, labour, education, and government decision-makers.
Kerry recently established Human Capital Strategies, an independent consulting firm that provides human resource development, training, planning, policy, research and related services. He will continue to promote the need for more comprehensive career information and awareness in British Columbia schools.

KerryÂs other leadership experience has included management responsibility in the provincial government in labour market policy, federal provincial relations, adjustment programs, university colleges, aboriginal programs, and literacy strategies. He also spent seven years working at the BCIT and community colleges.
After completing school in the Surrey and Langley school districts, Kerry earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University and a Master of Arts. in Adult Education from the University of British Columbia.
Kerry was born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia, and now resides in Victoria with his wife and their two children.
