kerry's Story
After graduation, I moved to Germany with my family My father was a Pan Am Pilot and we had dual residences in Berlin and Munich. I got married on the Greek island of Rhoades and moved back to the Santa Cruz Area. I attended Cabrillo College and then I bought the Friendly Pet Shop (no longer there) on Soquel Ave in Santa Cruz. My college deferments ran out and I joined a U S Marine Reserve unit. I was divorced in 1969. I started attending U C Santa Cruz and graduated in 1970. I joined the San Jose Police Department in 1971. I received an interservice transfer from my Marine unit and after processing a leave of absence from SJPD, I entered the U S Air Force Officer Candidate School and then went onto flight training at Craig AFB in Selma, Alabama. I received an early out after about 2 years, and returned to the San Jose Police Department. I married my current wife Teri Ann in 1976 and we have 3 children. nt and worked one year as a bailiff for the Santa Clara County Superior Court. In 2001 I went back the the City of San Jose as a Code Enforcement Inspector and retired in 2014. I still work two to three days a week as a bailiff at the Hall of Justice on Hedding in San Jose. My older son Clinton is a Firefighter/Paramedic for San Jose Fire. My Son Braden was U S Marine and returned home safe from a deployment in Afganistan. He is a graduate of LA Film School I have 4 grandchildren. and maybe another on the way. Clinton and his wife Nikki have twin children Clinton Everett III and Tessa (almost 12 years old) and my other son Braden has 7year old and a 3year old. My daughter Lisa graduated from Santa Clara Law School and is now a Public Defender in Stockton. She is married to a Deputy. There are two persons in my Pickleball group from the Class of 64. Scott Gross and Margaret (don't know her maiden name).
I didn't remember either of them (I suspect Scott rode to school on a little bus).
I now live in Rescue just off of Highway 50 on the way to Placerville.
